What's Inside

PixelPiano

Scans each frame of raw video for seven user defined colors — Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. When a color region exceeds the size threshold, it plays a MIDI note. Map each color to static pitches, or use Gate Mode to dynamically trigger notes from your incoming MIDI chords. Lock to your session's rhythm using native quantization. HSV sliders let you lock on to objects of a specific color — hue selects the pigment, saturation controls intensity, value controls brightness — so tracking stays reliable in any room.

SpectraLFO

Analyzes your video output using one of four color-space algorithms — RGBG, Hue, Grayscale, or Warmth — then splits the result into 16 channels of intensity, each with its own response profile. Every channel translates to MIDI CC, assignable to any parameter in a synth, DAW, or controller. Map these streams to filter cutoffs, gain, pan, or dry/wet mix for a continuously evolving effect driven entirely by the changing video feed.

VideoFX

Maps unique shader effects to MIDI notes, creating a polyphonic video effects chain. Stack and rearrange effects like a guitar pedalboard, creating a visual infinite order of operations to customize the final image. Trigger effects from your piano roll or controller — each key activates its own effect, and playing a chord composites those effects sequentially. Many effects also expose their own parameters to MIDI CC, so hardware knobs, faders, or DAW automation can continuously warp and automate each effect while active.

MediaMixer

Blends the output from VideoFX with user imported media files. Each file is assigned to a MIDI note that can be loaded, triggered, and mixed into the final output using a variety of blend modes. This allows your VideoFX output and layered visuals to be combined into a single cohesive live feed. This means your mixing choices not only create a dynamic visual presentation but directly shape the modulation data generated by SpectraLFO.
